I just recently got recommended by another fellow parent on the Fisher Price infant to toddler rocker chairs for kids. What’s the big deal you say? Well, according to my friend, it’s a great alternative that helps their child to sleep other than in conventional cots or baby seats.
These rocker chairs for kids are being sold currently for $39.99, which to me is quite a bargain and not too expensive. Feature wise, you can recline them to different levels, even setting it to be like a bed if need be. The chairs are able to support kids up to 40 pounds and are most suitable for first year babies.
These chairs for kids also come with toys that have farm characters. In stage one, the toys are mounted to the toy bar and face downward towards baby for visual stimulation with bright colors and patterns. In stage two, the toys are unlinked from the toy bar and re-linked to the right and left of baby’s grasp in addition to on the crotch strap for teething and to develop baby’s sense of touch. In the third stage, the toys mount back to the toy bar and the seatback adjusts for baby to bat at the toys.
The one feature that caught my attention with these rocker chairs for kids is that it’s able to send small vibrations down the back of the chairs, helping to relax your child and send them off to sleep. Now, whether or not you use this feature is up to your child actually, it depends on whether they like or not. For my friend, she found it to be particularly useful when her child is crying. Once it’s switched on, they really relax and start to smile in some cases.
Lastly, parents are advised only use the upright position only when your child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward. Always use the restraint until your child is able to climb in and out of the chair unassisted.
Personally, I’d suggest that parents still keep an eye on their kids even when they have been strapped in.
Here’s one place you can get the Fisher Price Infant To Toddler Rocker.
